98. Illinois pěší pluk

The 98th Illinois Infantry Regiment was an Illinois regiment of the Union Army that was active from 3 September 1862 to 29 July 1865 during the American Civil War. Organized at Centralia, the regiment fought at the Battle of Chickamauga (holding off several Confederate attacks with their Spencer rifles) and in Atlanta campaign.
