29. United States Colored pěší pluk

The 29th United States Colored Infantry Regiment was a Black infantry regiment of the Union Army that was active from 24 April 1864 to 6 November 1865 during the American Civil War. Organized in Quincy, Illinois, the regiment fought at the Siege of Petersburg and in the Appomattox campaign before participating in the liberation of the slaves of Galveston, Texas on 19 June 1865.
