The 1st South Carolina Infantry Regiment was a South Carolina infantry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 1860 to 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Charleston and in Orangeburg, Lancaster, Barnwell, Greenville, Colleton, and Richland counties, the regiment fought in the East from the Battle of South Mountain to the Appomattox campaign.
