1. Massachusetts pluk

The 1st Massachusetts Regiment was a Massachusetts regiment of the Continental Army that was active from 1775 to 1783 during the American Revolutionary War. The regiment was raised in Berkshire, Hampshire, Suffolk, Middlesex, Worcester, and York counties in Massachusetts and Litchfield in Connecticut, and it fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill and in the Canadian campaign before guarding the Hudson highlands.
