1. Louisiana Zouaves

The 1st Louisiana Zouaves byl prapor zouaves který sloužil v Confederate States Army od 27. března 1861 do prosince 1864 během American Civil War. Pluk byl pozvednut Georges De Coppens o síle 616 důstojníků a mužstva, přičemž jedna rota se skládala z anglicky mluvících Americans, druhá se skládala z Louisiana Creoles, a mnoho dalších vojáků se narodilo v cizině Swiss, German, Italian, Spanish, and Irish soldiers. První Louisiana Zouaves poprvé viděla akci během Peninsula Campaign, po které bojovali v Seven Days Battles, the Siege of Harpers Ferry, the Second Battle of Bull Run, the Battle of Antietam (where De Coppens was killed), the Battle of Fredericksburg, the Siege of Suffolk, and the Siege of Petersburg.
