The 189th New York Infantry Regiment was a New Yorker regiment of the Union Army that was active from August 1864 to 1 June 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Steuben, Allegany, Madison, Oswego, and Oneida counties, the regiment served in the Siege of Petersburg and the Appomattox campaign.
