179. New York pěší pluk

The 179th New York Infantry Regiment was a New Yorker regiment of the Union Army that was active from 3 April 1864 to 8 June 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Chemung, Steuben, Erie, Tioga, and Tompkins counties, the regiment served in the Siege of Petersburg and the Appomattox campaign.
