15. Illinois pěší pluk

The 15th Illinois Infantry Regiment was an Illinois regiment of the Union Army that was active from 25 April 1861 to 16 September 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in McHenry, Boone, Winnebago, Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Ogle, Lake, and Carroll counties, the regiment was organized at Freeport and fought at the Battle of Fort Donelson, the Battle of Shiloh, and the Siege of Vicksburg.
