12. Illinois Volunteer pěší pluk

The 12th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regiment was a Union Army regiment which was active from 1 August 1861 to 18 July 1865 during the American Civil War. Vychován John McArthur, byl přezdíván „1. skotský pluk“, protože většina jeho členů byla Scottish immigrants from Chicago, Illinois. Poprvé bojovala v Battle of Shiloh v roce 1862 a později se zúčastnila tažení skrz Georgia během Atlanta Campaign a bojovala ve finále Bitva u Bentonville v roce 1865. Byl vysvěcen 18. července 1865.
