11. North Carolina pěší pluk

The 11th North Carolina Infantry Regiment was a North Carolina regiment of the Confederate States Army which was active from March 1862 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Mecklenburg, Burke, Bertie, Chowan, Orange, Lincoln, and Buncombe counties from veterans of the 1st North Carolina Infantry Regiment, the regiment served with the Army of Northern Virginia from the Battle of Gettysburg to the Battle of Cold Harbor and suffered 50% losses at the Battle of Gettysburg. The 11th surrendered at Appomattox at the end of the war.
