Bitva u Abú Ješa byla bitvou mezi Jewish Haganah polovojenskou skupinou a Arab Army of the Holy War during the Palestinian Civil War of 1947.

Po United Nations' 29. listopadu 1947 vote to partition Mandatory Palestine between a Jewish state and an Arab state, the neighboring Arab countries began to amass soldiers for an anticipated war with the future Jewish state of Israel. Guerrillas of Grand Mufti Amin al-Husseini's Army of the Holy War infiltrated Palestine, and the British Army garrison in the region made things worse by confiscating weapons from Jewish kibbutzim (farming settlements) across the land. A British raid on the kibbutz of Gan Dafna in Jezreel valley resulted in the arrest of the village president Ernst Lieberman and the confiscation of the village's weapons, leaving vesnice prakticky bezbranná.
