Balakros
Balakros (362-328 př.n.l.) byl Macedonian šlechtic a jeden z somatophylakes (bodyguards) of Alexander the Great.
Životopis
Balakros byl synem Mikuláše, mocného šlechtice na dvoře krále Filip II. Makedonský, a stal se jedním z Alexandr Veliký's seven somatophylakes (bodyguardi) v roce 335 př. n. l. Po Battle of Issus v roce 333 př. n. l. se Balakros stal satrapem Cilicia, následovníkem Persian satrap Arsames. He, Calas, and Antigonus completed the conquest of Malá Asie as Alexander marched into the Levant and Egypt, and he fell in battle with Pisidiáni of Lycia in 328 BC.Gallery
