79. Illinois pěší pluk

The 79th Illinois Infantry Regiment was an Illinois regiment of the Union Army that was active from 28 August 1862 to 12 June 1865 during the American Civil War. Organized in Mattoon, the regiment served in Kentucky, Tennessee, the Atlanta campaign, and the Franklin-Nashville campaign.
