56. Pennsylvania pěší pluk

The 56th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment was a Pennsylvanian regiment of the Union Army that was active from 1861 to 1 July 1865 during the American Civil War. The regiment was raised in Susquehanna, Wayne, Indiana, Luzerne, Northumberland, Philadelphia, Lycoming, Centre, Snyder, Union, and Schuylkill counties and organized in Harrisburg, and it was attached to the Army of the Potomac">Army of the Potomac from the Second Battle of Bull Run to the Battle of Appomattox Court House.
