3. Maryland pěší pluk, Potomac Home brigáda

The 3rd Maryland Infantry Regiment, Potomac Home Brigade was a Marylander regiment of the Union Army that was active from 31 October 1861 to 29 May 1865 during the American Civil War. The regiment was organized at Cumberland, Hagerstown, and Baltimore, and it fought at the Battle of Harpers Ferry in 1862 and the Battle of Monocacy in 1864, having been stationed in West Virginia to guard vital railroads.
