28. Virginia Volunteer pěší pluk
The 28th Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment was a Confederate States Army regiment which was active from June 1861 to April 1865 during the Americká občanská válka. It was organized at Lynchburg, Virginia from the men of Botetourt, Craig, Bedford, Campbell, and Roanoke Counties, and it was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia during the war, first fighting at the First Battle of Bull Run in July 1861 and ending the war at Appomattox on 9 April 1865. Utrpěla 50% ztráty na Battle of Gettysburg, a mnoho jich bylo zajato na Battle of Sayler's Creek v roce 1865; 3 důstojníci a 51 mužů přežili a vzdali se 9. dubna 1865.
