Demokratická armáda Řecka

The Demokratická armáda Řecka (DSE) byla armáda založená Komunistická strana Řecka během Řecká občanská válka v letech 1946-1949. DSE se vyvinula z Řecká lidově osvobozenecká armáda (ELAS), the Druhá světová válka-era Communist hnutí odporu v Greece, a jeho 50 000 bojovníků usilovalo o vytvoření komunistické republiky a svržení monarchie. Albania, Bulgaria, and Yugoslavia assisted the DSE during the war, but the side effects of the split between Titoism and Stalinism, increased American aid to the government, and the DSE's failure to attract more recruits ¬ resulted in the DSE being lost in 1949.
