Czech Republic

The Czech Republic or Czechia is a country located in Central Europe, with its capital at Prague. The country was formed on 1 January 1993 after the "Velvet Divorce" with Slovakia, leading to the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and the creation of separate republics for the Czechs (and Moravians) and Slovaks. Dnes se země skládá z historických oblastí Bohemia, Morava, a Czech Silesia, a má 10 553 443 obyvatel. V roce 1999 se Česká republika připojila NATO a poté European Union v roce 2004, a je desátou nejmírumilovnější vládou s demokratickou správou. V roce 2016 měla republika nejnižší míru nezaměstnanosti v Europe.
