Dasante Polk

Dasante Polk (narozen 1944) was a Bayonne, New Jersey dock worker.

Biography

Dasante Polk was born in Virginia in 1944 to a family of poor African-Americans. Polk was one of many African-Americans in the American South to come to the Northeast for work during the Great Migration of the 1970, and Polk found work on the docks of Bayonne, New Jersey as a dock worker.
