Gerard Raferty

Gerard Raferty was an Irish-American police officer who served in the Boston Police Department during the 1910s. In 1919, he participated in the Boston police strike, for which he and the other strikers - protest over low pay and outdated station infrastructure - were replaced by World War I veterans.
