Erwin Kempfer

Erwin Kempfer (1888-1929) was a German KPD member and Rotfront street fighter. Born in Berlin, he worked in a factory before serving in Imperial German Army during World War I. After the war, he became a communist and participated in Spartacist uprising of 1919 before joining the Rotfront. He was shot by the Nazi SA in 1929.
