Edward Ingouville-Williams

Edward Ingouville-Williams se narodil v Purbrooku, Hampshire, England in 1861, the son of General John William Collman Williams. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the East Kent Regiment in 1881 and served in the Nile Expedition of 1884-1885, in the Mahdist War, at the Siege of Ladysmith during the , and as the brigadier-general in command of the 16th Infantry Brigade on the eve of World War I. Během války byl povýšen na generálmajora a bylo mu svěřeno velení Britská 34. divize. Byl zabit při German dělostřelecké palbě při inspekci svých jednotek během Battle of the Somme.
