Central Powers

The Central Powers byla aliance založená 28. června 1914 mezi Německá říše a Austria-Hungary, with the Osmanská říše joining the alliance on 2 August 1914 and Bulgaria joining the alliance on 14 October 1915. Central Powers se skládaly z pouhých čtyř členských států, ale kontrolovaly rozsáhlá území, přičemž Germany controlling colonies in Africa and the Pacific and the Turks controlling lands in the Middle East addition to Asia Minor. Ústřední mocnosti byly rozpuštěny 11. listopadu 1918 poté, co byly poraženy Triple Entente během World War I.
