Hassan al-Turabi

Hassan al-Turabi (1. února 1932 – 5. března 2016) byl generálním tajemníkem Národní islámská fronta of Sudan od října 1964 do 1999, sloužící jako eminence grise režimu.

Životopis

Hassan al-Turabi se narodil 1. února 1932 v Kassala, Sudan, syn a Sufi Muslim sheikh. V roce 1951 studoval práva v Chartúmu a vstoupil do Muslim Brotherhood while in school, and in the early 1960s he became the leader of the group's Sudanese chapter.
