Four Days' Battle

The Four Days' Battle was a naval battle of the Second Anglo-Dutch War which was fought in the North Sea on 1-4 June 1666.

16 January 1666, King Louis XIV of France declared war on England, concerned that the complete destruction of the Dutch fleet in the English Channel to allow for England to interfere with # jeho plánů na invazi na Španělské Nizozemsko v jeho Devoluční válka.
