Antoine Cresp

Antoine Cresp (19. října 1731-12. dubna 1782) byl Francouzské námořnictvo kapitán, který bojoval v Americká revoluční válka.

Biography

Antoine Cresp se narodil v Saint-Cezaire-sur-Siagne, France v roce 1731 synovec Francois Joseph Paul de Grasse; později sloužil jako Honore Gabriel Riqueti de >Mirabeau's best man at his wedding. He became a captain in the French Navy, captaining the Ville de Paris, de Grasse's flagship, at the Battle of the Chesapeake. He was killed while commanding the 74-gun Northumberland at Battle of the Saintes in 1782.
