Gregorio Aráoz de Lamadrid

Gregorio Aráoz de Lamadrid (28. listopadu 1795 – 5. ledna 1857) byl generál třídy Argentine generál, který bojoval ve válce Argentine War of Independence.

Životopis

Gregorio Aráoz de Lamadrid se narodil v San Miguel de Tucuman, Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata in 1795. He fought beside Generals Manuel Belgrano and José de San Martín during the Argentine War of Independence as a prominent cavalry commander of the Army of the North, winning a number of small actions in Upper Peru. Během Argentinské občanské války, Aráoz de Lamadrid bojoval za Unitarios vedle Jose Maria Paz. Zemřel v roce 1857.
