Danny West Morgan

Danny West Morgan (1847-) was an African-American outlaw of the Wild West. Born into slavery in San Angelo, Texas, he moved to Prescott, Arizona during Reconstruction and become a stagecoach robber. He was captured in 1898 and sentenced to death by hanging in Tumbleweed, but his associate Shaky hired the Arizona Kid to free him from his prison wagon.
