Aufidius Maximus

Aufidius Maximus was the centurion of Legio VI Victrix in Roman Britain. His freedman Marcus Aufidius Lemnus set an altar to the goddess Sulis Minerva at the temple courtyard of Aquae Sulis (present-day Bath, Somerset, England) with the goal of providing for the welfare and safety of his liege.
