188th New York Infantry Regiment

The 188th New York Infantry Regiment was a New Yorker regiment of the Union Army that was active from October 1864 to July 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Monroe, Ontario, Livingston, Yates, and Steuben counties, the regiment served in the Siege of Petersburg and the Appomattox campaign.
