16th Texas Infantry Regiment

The 16th Texas Infantry Regiment was a Texan infantry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from March 1862 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. Organized at Hempstead, the regiment served in Louisiana and Arkansas during the war.
