Bitva u Plani
The Battle of Plani was fought in 1916 during the Eastern Front campaign of World War I. The Russian and Romanian forces recaptured the Latvian town of Plani from the Germans and their allies, recapturing a part of the German Wall.The Imperial Russian Army and a Romanian contingent launched an offensive against the German, Bulgarian, and Austro-Hungarian troops defending a section of the German Wall at < Plani in Semigallia, attack the Central Powers forces at a clearing in the Baltic woods.
