Bitva u Lozy

Bitva u Lozy byla svedena 26. října 1655 mezi vojsky Poland-Lithuania a Sweden during the Deluge.

Ratsherr Lennart Torstensson a jeho armáda sestoupila na pevnost Berestye z Prussia, s úmyslem dobýt Polish fort and threatening Warsaw. After Hetman Jan Sobieski and Cornet Zygmunt Słuszka's armies moved to intercept the Swedes, Torstensson byl nucen stáhnout se hlouběji na polské území ve směru Lublin. However, Jerzy Wisniewski and his Polish mercenary band joined the two Polish army in attack Torstensson's army southeast of Brest. In the ensuing battle, Polish cavalry overwhelmed the Finnish harquebusiers, cuirassiers, and pikemen in the Swedish army, suffering relatively light woundties and destroying the Swedish force.
