Baldassare
Baldassare was a Canaanite general in the service of the Syrian shasu warlord Irsu during the Late Bronze Age.
Biography
Baldassare was born in Syria to a family of shasu nomads, and he entered the service of the warchief Irsu and replaced Elhu as commander of Irsu's main Syrian army on Elhu's death at the Siege of Ugarit in 1199 BC.
