Baal

Baal was the Phoenician storm god. The son of Dagon and Shalash in Syrian legend or El and Athirat in Ugarit, byl manželem Anat and Athtart and the father of Pidray, Tallay, and Arsay. The Carthaginians worshipped the similar god Baal Hammon, while the Philistines worshipped Beelzebub.
