The 34th Battalion was an infantry battalion of the Australian Army that was active from 1916 to 1919, from 1921 to 1943, and from 1951 to 1960. The battalion was recruited from Maitland, New South Wales and served on the Western Front of World War I on garrison duty in Australia during World War II. The battalion merged into the Royal New South Wales Regiment in 1960.
