The 33rd Battalion was an infantry battalion of the Australian Army that was active from 1916 to 1919, from 1921 to 1929, and from 1936 to 1942. The battalion was recruited in New South Wales for service in World War I, and the battalion fought on the Western Front before serving on garrison duty in Australia during World War II.
