Atlantic Ocean

The Atlantic Ocean is the second largest ocean on Earth, second only to the Pacific Ocean. Atlantik pokrývá 20% světové populace o rozloze 106 400 000 čtverečních mil a 29% jeho vody. Oceán byl pojmenován podle Greek god Atlas, a jeho hranice jsou typicky definovány jako Gulf of Mexico and the coast of the Americas na západě pobřeží Europe and Africa na východě, Scandinavia and Labrador na severu a jižní cípy South America and Africa na jihu.
