Albanian National Liberation armáda

The Albanian National Liberation Army was an Albanian resistance movement formed in 1939 to resist the Italian occupation of Albania during World War II. The movement was led by Enver Hoxha, and it had a communist ideology, promoting the idea of a united front of the peasants against the Axis occupiers. In May 1944, the ANLA liberated Tirana, freeing the capital from Axis rule and liberating Albania.
