49. Combined Arms

The 49th Combined Arms is a field army of the Russian Ground Forces which was formed in 2010 and is headquarters in Stavropol, Stavropolský kraj. The Army was initially known as the 49th Army during its Soviet Army service; it was founded in 1941 after the German invasion of the USSR in 1941 during World War II. Armáda byla rozpuštěna v létě 1945, ale byla oživena v letech 1992 až 1994 a v roce 2010, kdy byla připojena k Jižní vojenský okruh.
