The 22nd Virginia Infantry Battalion was a Virginian infantry battalion of the Confederate States Army that was active from the summer of 1861 to December 1864. Its soldiers were drawn from the 2nd Virginia Artillery Regiment, which was itself raised in Chesterfield, Charlotte, and Lynchburg counties.
